It was all Greek to me before. Man, if I had the money the things I would be doing with Emelinne! Someone there said that if she has medicaid they would pay for a device. I think I keep getting confused with getting services and medicaid. There is a new one out called a Logan. She said they take payments if you cannot pay all of it up front. I cannot believe the price of the Dynavox. I have never had a device and no one has ever suggested I get one. All I know is that in NY they used the 32 key TEACCH whatever and then here they stopped using it because it wasn't beneficial or it was too much for her. Alot of these things are too advanced for her so I would start out with the simple ones but what happens when it is outgrown? I mean do you end up with thousands of dollars worth of devices in the closet? Is there an agency that takes used ones and sells them cheaper or donates?
