Guest guest
Hi, Everyone.....Sherry.....I just got back from a follow up appt with the Epilepsy specialist that did the week long studies on Gareth in Sept. I thought of you and the whole way home. Here Gareth's been on these seizure meds for 11/2 yrs now and he says he never needed them. He is sticking by the 'non epileptic siezure' disorder and told me to take him off the Depakote since those meds do nothing for him. I feel like a total shmuck for having G on those meds and dealing with all the horrible side affects from each of them. He is 'hoping' the tremors from the Depakote will subside. He is not denying that Gareth didn't have a seizure 11/2 yrs ago, but that it was probably a 'freak' occurrence and the doc here never followed up with repeat EEG's. I kept telling everyone that I thought it was a reaction to the Prednisone/Levaquin combo for the pneumo he had. No one will believe me on that call, though. Leah.....Check out the side affects here for the Aricept. Nausea and vomiting are the most frequent. I would ask the doc for a counter-acting pill for the nausea if you are going to keep her on the Ariciept. Guest guest
GI effects is the first side effect for 99% of all meds!!! That way they cover their bases. Look at a PDR. It is terrible because then people stop taking them because of the n & v when there are meds to counter that effect. - MArijuana being one!!! > > > Hi, Everyone.....Sherry.....I just got back from a follow up appt with the > Epilepsy specialist that did the week long studies on Gareth in Sept.
