Guest guest Posted September 25, 2007 Report Share Posted September 25, 2007 MONSOON SAFETY DRIVING TIPS----------------------------------------------------The monsoon are here again.The institute Safety Management offers some sensible tips on how to play safe first and foremost.*Do not drive your car in to a flooded are.*If car is submerged in water,do not attempt to start it.There are chances of the water getting in to the engine,which can easily wreck it.*Leave the car as it is if the area is flooded.Do no sit in the vehicle.Get out and walk to safety.Remember that life is more precious than your car.*If you have a option ,try parking the car on a higher elevation area.*Use lower gear and apply brakes slowly while negotiating.*In a disaster like situation, instead of trying to reach home, first aim to reach home of an acquaintance nearest to disaster prone site.*Last but not least,keep a hammer(yes Hammer)in the vehicle(not in a tool box)which can be used to break open the windows in the worst case.Have a safety drivingHave a safe day*T.M.Khaleel batcha Bring your gang together - do your thing.
