In continuation to my mail dated July 11,

2007, I like to inform all concerned that the mail sent by me regarding the Messer

Flash Back Arrestor is not with the intention of maligning or tarnishing the

image of MESSER. If at all this has hurt the sentiments and feelings of any

individual or any group or any company, I sincerely regret for the same.

My intention is to identify an alternative

suitable one.

FLASH BACK ARRESTOR: MESSER, Made in West Germany,

Supplied by L & T dealer at

Trichy.

We have provided FLASH BACK ARRESTOR, Regulator

mountable both for Oxygen and Dissolved acetylene cylinders in our sugar

Factory (6 nos each). After 6 months gas is not flowing through the FLASH BACK

ARRESTOR provided in the Oxygen cylinders and hence they have been removed. The

reasons are unknown and the supplier was communicated to verify the problem but

he is not responding.

What is the reason for the defect?

Whether flash back occurred?

Is it possible to service & rectify?
