Guest guest
Hi, I am an alumnus of UPES Dehradun and did my M.Tech HSE there. I presume that you are from CUSAT. My batchmates and juniors lot many of them are from CUSAT. In terms of the course content the people from CUSAT were telling, it is pretty similar with a few papers from petroleum. I had my faculty from ONGC, IIP and IOC. Its an interesting course, but more managerial in nature. There is not much of design aspect of safety in the course. Hoiwever if you want some exposure in the petroleum sector then UPES is a good place to be in. It has recongnition from UGC, but no apprval from AICTE as the university says its not required. Good Luck.
