USV Limited is a pharmaceutical company based at Mumbai. We have

manufacturing sites for bulk drugs/ Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients

(API) at Lote Parshuram MIDC and for formulations at Daman and Baddi. For

In our process to augment, our existing site EHS team, we have a

requirement of qualified and experienced Environment, Health and Safety

(EHS) professionals for our Lote Parshuram site. Lote Parshuram MIDC is

situated on Mumbai Goa Highway, approx. 250 Kms from Mumbai and 16 Kms

from Chiplun / Khed Railway stations on Konkan Railway.

1. Assistant Manager -Safety

Qualifications : Masters or Bachelors Degree in Sciences with Chemistry

with Diploma in Industrial Safety (Bombay Technical Board -1 year Course)

Experience : 5-6 years EHS functional work experience at chemical,

petrochemicals, power, bulk drugs manufacturing sites, with working

knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 system.

Job Profiles : Shall lead process of implementation of ISO 14001 and

OHSAS 18001 at site, in addition to working on following EHS system

a) Emergency prepardness

Process Risk Assessment - during product scale ups

c) Workplace Health Risk Assessment

d) Accident Prevention and Control

e) Occupational Health Centre management

f) Safety Systems- for chemical manufacturing site

g) EHS MIS Reporting and Budget

h) Liaison with statutory authorities and industry associations

i) In absence, of Assistant Manager Environment - coordinate

operations at ETP, Haz.Waste, Environment Monitoring.

2. Executive Environment

Qualifications : Masters or Bachelors Degree in Sciences with Chemistry /

Environment Sciences

Experience : 4-5 years work experience in operation of full fledged

effluent treatment plant , evaporator and hazardous waste management.

Job Profile : Shall be responsible for following operation and

maintenance of following environmental units at site :

a) Effluent Treatment Plant with primary, two stage biological

aeration system with d diffused aeration system and tertitary

treatment, including operation of full fledged ETP laboratory.

Multi-stage forced circulation evaporator with driers unit

c) Hazardous Waste Management- Collection, Storage, Transportation

and Disposal at TSDF

d) Environment Monitoring Activities

e) Correspondence, Liasion with statutory authorities, file returns /

statements.

Accomodation : Company has accomodation facilities at Lote MIDC

Residential Area, which may be provided.
