Please join the PACT listserve. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PACT/ I cannot say enough good things about PACT or the woman who started it, Pam . I have seen a few of our members pop up there from time to time. These folks are the experts and can be of tremendous help. PACT exists to help families who are using/in need of using AAC devices. Once you join, you can read their files, check their archives, etc., and see what parents are using for their kids. 2. Just do a google search for AAC devices and you will get a boatload of pages. Some will be specific companies, some will be a review of a variety of companies and their products. 3. You can also go to Youtube and do a search for " AAC devices " or " AAC devices autism " or " Assistive Communication Devices " . Fun to see videos of kids and adults using their devices. There are too many to list. The most frequent ones that come up with folks I know are Dynavox, Prentke-Romich (Vantage and others) and Tango. But, apps are being created for using iPhone and iTouch (Macs). There is a lot to digest. Good luck! Beth > > > for links to devices I have the dynavox link just would like to shop around. Any suggestions???? _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live: Keep your friends up to date with what you do online. http://windowslive.com/Campaign/SocialNetworking?ocid=PID23285::T:WLMTAGL:ON:WL:\ en-US:SI_SB_online:082009
