Guest guest Posted October 11, 2009 Report Share Posted October 11, 2009 Hi, Everyone....Liz....four of Gareth's docs ( PCP, rheumatologist, pulm, & immunol) told me to have him get all 3 of the vaccines this fall because of his health issues. If you have a sickly kid (like Gareth --- autoimmune issues, asthma, frequent pneumonia, heart issues, etc) then they are at greater risk of dying. He's already had the reg flu shot and the pneumo shot....we're waiting for the H1N1 vaccine. At first, I was hesitant but the docs all agree that this vaccine is safer than the one in the '70's and I have decided I can't take a chance. Take care, Everyone.
