Guest guest
I have inadvertently learned to nite that school districts have been DESTROYING school records after a chld reaches 22!!!! This is even even for those children who have IEP's. Been told that, at least in the state of GA, it is state law??!! I must admit I am astonished. If this is a nationwwide issue, a state by state issue, or a S/D level issue, I am not aware. HOWEVER, for those who have aging children, I would recommend on the side of caution and get copies of the most important part of school records before age 22. This would be IEP's, psychological testing, CRCCT testing scores, and if they graduated, a record of that. -- Sara -To Life!
