Depo Provera

My daughter started Depo last September. She will be off it this September and

start Seasonique. Emelinne has gained weight and her self injurious behavior

has increased. How can you tell if a child is depressed if she does not

communicate well? How can you tell if she has a headache? Emelinne has always

had a high tolerance for pain. She once had 4 teeth removed and went home and

ate pretzels. She once went for a day with a piece of glass in her foot. She

entertains herself and will stay in her room most of the day. She has never

socialized with other kids. She prefers adults probably because they have been

the caretakers. To me it also looks like her hair has thinned out on top but I

guess this can be from something else.
