I put my sons pills in applesauce whole, and let them in there for a long time

refrigerated before it is time for him to take them.

When he is ready to take them they are completely soft, yet they stay in their

original form.  He swallows the applesauce and the pill goes down very easily,

because everything is soft like the applesauce.  I also tried the crush method

and that  permeated all of the applesauce.  The whole soft way doesn't seem to

give any taste.

Hope this helps.

Subject: Re: Tricks to get our kids to take medication

I was thinking this morning about covering a pill with chocolate like a

chocolate covered peanut. My daughter is the same way. If you do something she's

gonna remember the next time. Such a great memory she has!

her in a small spoon full of chocolate pudding. However, I did that once with a

medication that tasted bad, and now she isn't buying that trick.
