Hello!

Has anyone ever had a dairy-allergic patient react to the lactose homeopathic pellets? I know that they are sugar, not protein, but I just need more reassurance :) Is it lactose synthesized from a lab rather than extracted from dairy?? Thanks for your experience!

Despite having many patients with dairy allergies and sensitivities, I have only

ever had one patient react to the lactose in homeopathic remedies, and she

reacts quite dramatically. However, it should be noted that this patient has

many environmental and food allergies.

She is also extremely allergic to alcohol, so will occasionally take a

homeopathic remedy in pellet form if she and I think the benefit outweighs the

discomfort it causes (mucus, cough, throat clearning and abdominal cramps for an

hour or so)
