Judging by the odor, this batch could already pickle eggs. I have to say, kudos to the commercial bottler for distributing a live healthy product! My current plan is to move the SCOBY to a larger jar, using this tea as the starter. Thanks to those well-wishers on the list! I am so looking forward to a glass of homegrown.
