does anyone in the Minneapolis area know where I can get water kefir grains ??

I have reg kefir grains I use with raw milk, what is the difference ?? Thanks,

on another note, how can I ship a scobi to Arizona?? Should I just seal

it up in a jar with some kombucha, and send it overnight with a cold pack ??

water kefir grains feed on sugar rather than dairy. I have tried my dairy kefir

grains in water recipes before and didn't have great luck. The product

generally didn't taste good and the grains would die after a few weeks of use in

water recipes.
