Guest guest
Dear Rainbow, I did not make it clear that you are not supposed to type the word " End " You are supposed to apply only two keystrokes in the sequence Type [Ctrl] + [End] You hold down [Ctrl] key and press simultaneously the [End] key - But if you have a Macintosh there may not be such a key - it is a long time since I saw one of these wonders. Anyway I hope that this will clear things out for you. The end key is mostly placed near the home key and page up and down keys on the keyboard. Thank you very much if you and the other members will endeavour to delete the scrap. I has already improved today's digest is only 1300 lines of text - still with 25 mails in the digest that is an average of 52 lines per e-mail Thanx a lot from Carl Sukkot -------------------------------------- Date: Tue, 17 May 2005 15:35:10 -0700 Subject: Re: Mail notes with 6569 lines of text or more > > Move the cursor there > Hold down SHIFT key > [Ctrl] + [End] > Press DEL key Carl, first let me say that if I select, copy, and then 'reply', to just this above, ONLY the above text appears! Wonderful! Short! However I have always had great difficulty following instructions, proof enough for me in itself of my aspieness. I had this trouble following your instructions: If I hold down the shift key and type, I subsequently get CRTL + END, and after pressing the DEL key I have: CTRL + EN. Nothing but the D deletes. I apologize for all this tech stuff but do so wish to 'get it'.
