My son was diagnosed May 5th, 1999 (the day before he turned 1) with immune deficiency. At that time, his IgE was about 90. Then this past April it was 499, then July 30th they took a sample and it was 699. He has asthma and severe allergies and such, but since we moved to Hawaii in July his asthma has been wonderful. He is on Pulmacort MDI once a day, and gets Albuterol PRN, but we don't use the Alburterol at all, and I even wonder about the Pulmacort now. We have not stopped it yet because we don't want to make too many changes too fast. But I would think that his asthma would be worse if the IgE is up even more (past experience makes me think this).
