I have a suggestion (I have never done this but it's worth a shot). If you only

have one tray (with cover??), and you do another batch, after rinsing and

draining WELL, stick it in the fridge while sprouting, and rinse and drain every

12 hours. Do what I always do. EXPERIMENT.

Good idea Melody. I will put some to soak soon and try this. It can't hurt to

try it.

I think it was the heat. I had our temp set to 75 in the house and noticed

the sprouts were having a tough time so I reduced it to 73 to see how that

goes.
