Guest guest
My dh has some problems with depression himself. It started when he came back from Korea the first time.(I really think he was vaccine injured). After much insistence he began seeing a psychiatrist but when things got better he stopped going. Well recently he has decided to go back to the psychiatrist(a female this time lololol ). She has been very instrumental in helping him understand asperger's and the effect it has on Zach. She is the one who is getting dh to realize how to approach and how not to approach Zach because of course dh won't listen to me, lololol. MISSY SAHM to some special kids!!! My middle one (Mr. Anxiety) has difficulty accepting feedback or redirection often. You can see it esculate, then he starts to explode. His problem is that he takes feedback or direction as a personal criticism. *sighs* I've found that the lower the tone, calm voice and even a bit of humor helps with all this.
