We've been telling the past few days she's turning five today. Of course

I told her she was five today many many times before she went to school (she's

goes in the afternoons). After school I took her to the toilet, and of course

was mentioning turning five again. While in the bathroom she distinctly took her

left hand, and counted from one to five on her right hand by slowly touching all

four fingers & then her thumb. I've never seen her count to any number before.

is non-verbal at home, but we've been told she's spoken a few times at

school. I was so excited. I can't wait to tell my husband & parents!
