Guest guest
, I am very sorry to hear that. It is disconcerting to me because I, too am awaiting a decision on my case. I filed in January and am expecting to hear something by the end of May. I am very worried that I will be denied also. I guess all we can do is keep trying, hunh? I was told that only 30- 40% of first-timers get approved. This was told to me by the SS employee who helped me file; he also said that if I get denied not to give up and that you don't have to get an attorney. All you have to do is re-file or appeal or whatever. You may want to check into this first, as you will lose a big chunk of money in fees if you do go with an attorney. Let us know what you find out. Keep your chin up- maybe the second time will be a charm. Love and hugs....
