Guest guest
Group I was wondering how you find stastic for each state on kids being born with DS. I want to follow in my town to see if it is on the rise because we no autism is but I think DS is. Why? How strange would it be for your friend or someone you know to have a child with DS say 6 months after you have your child and then another friend 3 yrs after your son is born. We were friends first and then had kids with DS. I want to see the statistic for my city. Where should I look? Cyndi B
Guest guest
Start easy. Call the health department and ask them. There are some health statistics which are tracked. If that doesn't work, call the local hosital and ask if they are required to report and to whom. . Otherwise, you could call the Babies Can't Wait or Early Start or what ever your baby intake is and ask if they track disabilities by type.
