Guest guest
Hi, Everyone....Amy...welcome to the group. My son, Gareth, is 20 y/o with the DS/Autism/OCD dx. I, too, use to cut the nails and hair while he slept.............years ago!!! I find it hard to believe that he isn't on meds for seizures if he has been having them so long. Did I read that wrong? Anyways, here's some info (ammo) to take to your next doctor's appt. Your kid needs dx'd to get the right therapies........OT, sensory, speech, communication, etc.....stuff that 'normal' DS kids don't necessarily need. _http://www.disabilitysolutions.org/newsletters/files/three/3-5-6.pdf_ (http://www.disabilitysolutions.org/newsletters/files/three/3-5-6.pdf) _http://uk.geocities.com/grahamdavidcookbtinternet/behaviour.htm_ (http://uk.geocities.com/grahamdavidcookbtinternet/behaviour.htm) Take care, Everyone.
