Guest guest
I got Siff's " Supertraining " several weeks ago and I'm about finished w/it. WOW, what a lot of amazing information. I'm trying my best to digest it and figure out how to apply to a few of my very athletic clients who are mostly involved in endurance racing (triathlon, adventure racing, running). What I'd love to see though are working examples of the concepts explored in " Supertraining, " especially w/regard to endurance athletes, but I want to learn everything I can about training as many types of athletes as possible. I feel like I've been shown the plans and directions for a space shuttle engine but it would be helpful to see an existing working model in action before I try and reinvent the wheel. I'd like to be able to sort of look over someone's shoulder and see the application of these concepts. I work in a commercial gym so there's not a lot of very serious athletes w/which to work nor do most of the trainers have much of an interest in learning and applying advanced sports science. Do any of you out there have any suggestions w/regard to more resources or where I can go to see expert coaching in action? I live in the Northern VA/Wash. DC area and I'll be moving to Denver, CO in September. Any advice will be appreciated. Norman Arlington, VA
