Ins. Coverage and HBOT

Hello Everyone,

I am an attorney practicing in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and am currently

volunteering my time as part of a pro bono project to compel

Medicaid/ Private Insurance carriers in both NJ & PA to recognize HBOT as an

effective form of therapy for cerebral palsy and other traumatic

brain injury.

While I am currently working on several individual appeals, what I would

really like to do is file a class action in both NJ and PA against Medicaid/

Private Insurance carriers. I am willing to donate

my time and effort, however for this to be a success I really need the

support of the HBOT community. In order to justify the effort necessary to

bring a class action, I will need to have at least 20 claimants residing in

each state that have a child with CP or other TBI, who have sought HBOT but

have been denied coverage and/or reimbursement for this therapy.

Together I hope to mount a significant legal challenge which will advance

the recognition and reimbursement of HBOT nationally.

If anyone would like to be part of the class action (or if you know of

someone who may be interested in becoming a class member), kindly contact me

by email at hbot.attorney@....

Thank you for your help.
