I do not mean to put down anyone's spelling but the topic of spelling has come up on various AS groups both in jest and seriousness which has gotten me thinking. Are APTs worse at spelling, in general, than NTs and if so why? Spelling was always my worst subject in school. Well not counting gym and penmenship and coloring. I almost had to repeat kindergarten because of my bad coloring! Anyway I have a brief questionaire on spelling for anyone who would like to answer. I would like to hear from both good and bad spellers! 1. Do you have trouble with spelling? 2. Do you have trouble understanding the spoken word? (I am thinking that not hearing the pronounciations of words correctly may make spelling harder.) 3. Do you think primarily in pictures rather than words? Is it hard for you to put your thoughts in words? [i posted more about this topic earlier, I can repost if someone didn't catch the earlier post or wants more details.] 4. Are there any other factors that you think contribute toward your level of spelling ability? For me the answers are 1-3) yes to all three and 4) not that I can think of currently.
