Guest guest
> > Irma, > Thank you for such beautiful words... I needed some uplifting words today.... I have been a ballbag all day...... just crying ....... Looking at baby pictures of both kids and realizing how OLD I am and how grown up they are....... lol and how our goals in life have shifted..... Ashton also has an iep meeting Weds that I am prepping for.......sigh........such is life....... my son has a girlfriend uggggggggg .........Ashton is the same age I was when I got preggo with her......uggggggggg lol Your welcome, hope it was for reassurance to what you already know. That age thinking of feeling old as they have grown is all part of being wise, young at heart and accomplishing to where they are at through whatever challenges thrown your way. The choices one makes, which path to take whether right or wrong. Those tears are reminders of all those moments feeling overwhelm when anyone who told you different things, you followed your heart to where you believe how much you were not going to give up and how much your kids can do with the hurdles of challenges with what life is the test we all go through but you have manage to move on. Never gave up. Wow! What news on both your kiddos. Cameron with a girlfriend, whoa, how time flies. This is incredible to read on one of goals for Ashton down the road. Do wish you well at the IEP meeting along with whatever challenges you end up confronting. What a line of programs Ashton is receiving and college, just wonderful news! You know everything happens for a reason, you were young when you had Ashton but this gave you that energy to push towards whatever direction needed. I believe also there was not much out with the unique challenges given as there is today, so you see how fantastic you are. Pat yourself on the back and enjoy those lovely moments while your kiddos grow with right in front of your eyes. There is a song that Kenny Chesney sings, something like " Don't Blink " , this is so true as we will miss those moments. Good luck at the IEP meeting. Wishing you well during these steps on taking action to that official day where it will be a memorable day. : ) Irma,20,DS/ASD > > > thank you both very much for the woohooo and congrats....
