Guest guest Posted September 3, 2008 Report Share Posted September 3, 2008 Elie is moving to live with - a 24 yo who has worked " in the field " since he was 15 - as well as being the son of the previous director of the center based program Elie went to and as well as being the " brother " to a man who has lived with his family for many years. he will be living about an hour away from us. Here in the mountains, an hour is caused by the mountains getting in the way, but he will be about 40 miles away. has rente with intent to buy a house where he and his finacee will be Elie's live sharing partner. They already know each other well as has been providing personal supports for Elie for the past year. And his job coach - he found Elie his first real job in the real world. they also share interests in WATCHING sports and going bowling and fishing together. will be paid for residential services and shortly will get a separate salary for the time he spends on supports during the day. But we also have 2 other people lined up to do the day time supports and occasional respite for Elie when we are not available.
