Guest guest
Hey, I wanted to add to the raising chickens, we have about 14 acres, 6 sheep and 5 chickens and 1 rooster. The fresh eggs are the best ever. If you do get a broody hen, she will sit, we had one sitting on 6 eggs, but only 2 hatched and 1 survived. Usually, if the other hens do not sit, they get jealous and will try to kill the chicks or the eggs. So its best to have them all separate. Cleaning it is awful, and gross that is for sure. But nothing beats fresh eggs. We're even looking into cattle for that purpose as well!
