Norvir Intolerant

For many years now, off and on, I have taken Norvir in some form, in

Kalerta or by itself. For years I have suffered with the side effects

caused by this PI; diarrhea, nausea, ALL the lipo changes including

Cholesterol 221, Triglycerides 392, HDL 49 LDL 78 and overall of

feeling ill. I am on the couch alot when on Norvir, I am productive

when off Norvir.

Can someone suggest any HAART options that does not have NORVIR in the

regimene I can take and discuss with my doctor?

My labs are consistant, viral load 2000 to <50, CD4 avg 600 with the

lowest at 14 (probably a lab fluke).

Genotype results were Sensistive to Videx, RESISTANT to Epivir and

Emtriva with Resistance Possible with the remaining NRTI's. Sensitive

to NNRTI's and PI's. I am very lucky after HIV+ 18 yrs.

I appreciate any and all help with this because I am at the point of

quitting HAART all together and hoping for the best.
