the morning. She was also taking a 5 mg. tablet at 12:30 with lunch, but,

she was having difficulty sleeping, so, we discontinued it.

My daughter Kalyn is the same way. We found out she has an malapsortion

issue with the food. She never gets filled up and does not absorb the

nutriants, supposably it gose with the leacky gut thing. I lock my food up.

I win, as long as she does not get the keys. It also seems to be the need

for something in her mouth. I wonder do the boy's do this? I know a couple

her age who you have to make them eat (even what they will eat)

(((((((((((((((hugs to all who need one))))))))))))))))

My daughter was between 8 and 9 then, and she weighed about 75lbs. We

gave her one pill a day, in the morning. At first I was concerned about

using this otc med. but her weight gain was not healthy either. In the 2

years that we have stopped using it, she has grown a foot taller, but

has only gained about 8 pounds. I did not notice any side effects.

Kathy,This syndrome can be found with autism. For many of the kids it

looks like a thyroid issue.I think in my daughters case her weight gain

in the last two years involves a thyroid swing from hyper to hypo. She

was 68 at 11 ,98 at 12 and 108 at 13.We are trying to figure it

out.Agnes

Hi Once again I am late reading my mail. Kathy or Jim if you are out there

please email privately the study u have on the thyroid aspect of autism.

My daughter is 13 and weighs 151. she just lost five pounds because I am

montoring her food intake much more. And its not easy!!! LOL I had a thyroid

test done on her and it came back normal. Thanks and I am glad to see I am

not the only one with this problem. Its a hard one.
