Guest guest
God poor you Christiane. People get angry when they're frightened - and they want to believe that it's all safe and sound and they're protecting their kids. People always shoot the messenger :-( > > Ok, it happend again: I stuck my neck out about vaccines and autism and I am getting pummled... > > A friend posted on his facebook page that he is hoping his child will not be fussy after the 3 months vaccines ... and this ever sensitive German commented " And I hope he doesn't develop autim " . Oh boy, did I cause a storm. Everybody writing back about how there is no proven link, shame on me for scaring the parents, should go do some research etc etc. > Couldn't just let it go, said that I saw it myself and am recovering my child - was called a lier, a snake-oil salesman, child-experimenter and told to leave the observations and therapies to the professionals... > > Just posted a last note in which I stated that I indeed AM a professional, with a PhD and science background and that there WILL be proof for viral onset of autism soon. Until then I will rest my case. > > Phew. I needed to vent. I felt soooo lonely in this discussion, everybody ganging up on me. > > Christiane >
