We have been seeing Dr. Capone for years (since Maddie was 2), and have never gotten insurance of MA to pay. MA says it won't pay out of state, and my insurance won't pay saying I can get the same service here in Philly. With CHOP and their DS facilities in recent years, I can get something close for sure. But I trust more than anyone, and so I pay out of pocket....he's been with us through the thick and thin of it. Donna **************Planning your summer road trip? Check out AOL Travel Guides. Guest guest
Meidcare is FEDERAL - thus ELie can now pick his own dr's. Plus he has Tricare for life to pick up anything that Medicare won't pay. My bigger question - which I will call later and ask is if they will see adults. > > In a message dated 4/7/2008 11:10:07 P.M. Guest guest
Just because medicare is federal does not mean that every doctor or practice accepts it. Medicaid is also federally funded and not every doctor or provider accepts that either. Carol Trishasmom She isn't typical, She's Trisha! In a message dated 4/8/2008 9:44:02 P.M. Guest guest
Medical assistance paid when we had to go out of state for 's heart surgery when he was 8. We had to go through prior auth and the whole red tape. Of course the anesthesiologist was never prior authorized and didn't accept out of state MA even though I gave them the person that they could go through to get paid. We got harrassed by them for a few years. I told them to go ahead and report him to the credit agencies. Karyn > > > In a message dated 4/7/2008 11:10:07 P.M.
