The goal of the Oakland School District was to show " Ebonics " as a

worthy possession rather than as evidence of carelessness and

ignorance. Something that the children could build on. Their heart

was in the right place, there's no doubt about it....but it doesn't

keep ebonics from being full of grammatical errors.

If Spanish was full of grammatical errors I would say it too

Johanna. It doesn't mean that it's an inferior language.....but it's

certainly not going to get you a job lecturing.
