Hello all I am new here and hope someone can shed some light on my

problem with my 41/2 year old son with autism. I am having a trouble

getting him to eat food that is healthy but he will put things in his

mouth like play dough and foam. Has anyone ever had this with their

child and if so what do you think it means? Should I take play dough

away for playtime or could it mean he is missing some vitamin or

mineral? Any help would be great.

Thank you,

Jane

Hi,

I'm Karla and I have twins with autism, age 9. I have a thirteen year old with bipolar and some other social issues that act very similar to asperger's. (He is gifted, but psychologist assures me it's not asperger's.)

Anyway, I'm hoping to learn a lot of new ways to cope with behaviors. What a challenge my boys are to me!

Thanks!
