Guest guest
I do this with my son unless he says please or thank you for something that he wants I jsut ignore his request until he realizes what word in the sentence that he has missed. Works wonders with him he very rarely forgets now. Also when I call him or ask him a question he usually answers with a WHAT, I just keep saying his name or asking the question or to do the task until he answers Pardon. Most of my friends without AS compliment me on his politeness all the time. So I guess for him it works. Hope this helps. in Ajax. > >Reply-To: autism-aspergers >To: autism-aspergers >Subject: Re: Attchment >Date: Tue, 23 Dec 2003 03:26:55 -0000 > >Something that did me a lot of good was I used to stay with my >grandma a lot, and every single time I wanted anything, food or >whatever, she'd make me say 'please' and when I got it she'd make me >say 'thank you'.
