Guest guest
Oh Dana: I know exactly where you are coming from. We have come to the point where Bradley just can't go to the movie theatre. It is so overstimulating and huge, and loud. He becomes so engrossed any movie will freak him out and he won't sleep. This even happened on Pan 2 which we went to see with my 4 yr old. Now, if we want him to see a movie it definately can't be PG13 and has to be on video on our tv where he can process it over and over and over throughout the day. One time he watched a movie 5 times the day he got it. It's like the theatre is tooooo real and he needs to see it alot to get it out of his system. A little clonodine at night helps to stop this too. I will have to use this on Christmas eve or he will never go to sleep. As for the Church class at night, we had to stop it too, night time is just not a good time for us at all. Hope you get better sleep tonight BP/Aspergers SUPPORT GROUP Debby, Mom to: Kristofer 10, BPII, General Anxiety, Tourettes, Distraction, OCD, Over-focused (switching to lamactil, lexapro and keeping tenex) Bradley 8, Aspergers, Cyclothymic BP, Social anxiety, Phonological, (switching to Gabitral, tenex, abilify, keeping seraquel) 504 public school Mandy 5, - holding out for hope!
