I got married at Lake Tahoe in CA. We had major money issues at the time too. So our honeymoon was a night in a cheesy motel in Tahoe. But the next day we took a breakfast cruise around the lake which was lovely, and VERY cheap. There are a lot of creative things you guys could do... Are you the outdoorsy type? You guys could go camping! Or even a weekend out of town. Somewhere close...maybe the next town over. Stay in a motel 6 if you have to. I am sure you guys won't be paying much attention to your surroundings anyway, <g> It is nice to go somewhere, no matter where it is. And then decided that on your 5 years anniversary you will have that dream honeymoon in Bali or wherever you want to go. Start saving a few dollars a month now. In 5 years, you'll be all ready to go!
