Guest guest
Was this the same doctor you and your son had seen for years? I don't understand why he " reamed you. " I'm sorry that you had to experience that. The only time I had a doctor be rude was when I went to a new pediatrician (he was new in our town and I had been driving 35 miles to our old doctor). I told him all of the alternative treatments we had done with out son (who was 4 with DS and ASD). The doctor listened and then left the room for a long time. I went to look for him and overheard him in the hall way talking to his intern. He said, " that mother is nuts. " I let him know when he came back in the room that I had overheard. He stumbled around but did not apologize. Needless to say I have never been back to him. Our eye doctor is amazing. He did my son's first exam in the van while Colton watched a video. It was the only way he could get him to look straight ahead. Our pediatrician now is priceless. Good doctors are vital for our kids and for our own support.
