Guest guest
After 3 weeks in hospital with pneumonia, lymphodema, severe depression my t cells have rebounded some. I went from 275 to 335, and my Nurse Practioner said my percentages were great. I really thought that my whole system had crashed, as I peer into the mirror at a frail, gaunt, 122 lb man who is supposed to be at least 155 on the low side. I'm at 140-145 currenly. Viral load still pending, hospital forgot that this test is a frozen test and had to be repeated. MY PC doc said I could come of of my IV TPN, but my GI doc has me on a 1 months supply of endocort (by the way, never stop endocort abruptly! I stopped it w/o Dr permission and litterally could not walk for two days because of pain in my ankles and ankle joints) because I have a touch of cholitis, so the TPN will come (GI doc won this one) off once the cholitus heals, since you can have malabsorbtion going on with cholitus. I'm learning that many small meals are far better for me right now with the cholitus. If you eat a full share, you look like you're due to have a baby. And it actually hurts. Also, will finally be getting injectable testosterone, cool thing is it will be done during my monthly dr office visits for now by my RN. I do subQ for Procrit, but Nurse Practionioner said she'd never ask me to do an IM shot. The needle sizes are like and Goliath. This ensures them/me that I'm compliant with it I suppose. (I'm sure I'd pass out doing it, so why bother ) . How low will we go? Check out Yahoo! Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates.
