Okay this is another thing! LOL! We live in Maine, where we just received a foot of snow and it's cold - tonight's low is supposed to have a wind chill of -1! Guest guest
Hi, Everyone.....Gareth woke up a completely different kid today!!! Yesterday, he was coughing so bad and sounded like he was drowning in mucous and phlegm. He woke up this morning and said " All gone, Mom. " Thank God for modern meds!!! Now, we have to taper him off the Prednisone over the next 15 days. Looks like there won't be an ER visit this weekend. Happy Holidays to everyone....we just got a wonderful Christmas gift!!! Guest guest
Margaret....THis is great. I don't want to deflate your balloon but please be aware that prednisone and other steroids can give you a real high the first dose...sometimes even into mania. I know... I take them regularly for my back. They can make you feel sooooo good and then when withdrawing feel so bad. Not trying to rain on the parade but do be careful of his mood getting too high. At least he'll be on them for Christmas...this is great. He may get very angry or rageful after a couple of days. let's hope not but just so you're forewarned ok? Please don't hate the messenger. Personally I'm dreaming of a green christmas....NO I'm not!! Sherry sneaking away
