Guest guest Posted October 23, 2001 Report Share Posted October 23, 2001 Out hospital and clinic follow the same procedure that stated about blood cultures--into a small " soft-drink shaped " bottle with always two cultures sent from two separate sites--always at least 5cc in each. Jake has cultures drawn--or did when needed in the past--every day until the specific bacterium was identified. so he would usually have at least three sets of cultures drawn before the definitive answers came back on the first test. --mom to , 8, dysgammaglobulinemia, leukemia-in remission, etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
