Guest guest
Okay the latest and greatest issue. My daughter is finally starting to get the hang of going to the potty. At school she will keep a dry diaper all day, and if you catch her at the right time she will go to the potty for just about anyone but me. For me it's like pulling teeth. If I ask her to go she has no interest and if I make her sit on the potty she usually cries. Any ideas why this is and what I can do to change it? But even worse then that...she has always saved her poo poo's for me. Which is fine, I can deal with that. But the last 3 days she has made it her business to play in her poo poo. Is this just a coincidence or is there a reason? I shutter at the thought of having to clean up poo after she as used it as finger paint :-(. Any thoughts, suggestions, experiences on this- love to hear! Oh, p.s she is 5.
Guest guest
My little twin grand sons are 3 and they also have a problem with the poop issue. We have to watch them very careful and make sure when they poop we get it first before they do. They both have autism. They have been in school since Sept 5th. They seem to be improving with the therapy they are getting. They keep telling us it takes time and WORKING, WORKING,WORKING with them. They do have something called P's and Q's to chew on because they USE to CHEW on EVERYTHING. Early Intervention started the P and Q thing. Does your daughter have DS and ASD both ?
