Subject: [PAFTA] Help! Forced Out By Autism

I just received a phone call from a mom in York who is dire need of some

assistance and guidance. She is being threatened with being evicted

from her apartment because of her son's noise. Here is an article with

video of what News 21 in burg has reported on. She is a single

mom who moved to York this past June and has a mediation hearing October

25^th . Her legal representation does not have any experience with

autism and I know there has to be some violation there within the ADA code.

Please feel free to e-mail me onlist or offlist @ naapa @ ptd.net (all

together), if you have any advice for this mom. She did contact her

mayor's office with now avail, police have been called out to the

apartment and neighbors are claiming that he is a behavior problem and

they need to go. He is 9 and non verbal. She is trying her best, has

now lost her job and is afraid of where they will live if they are

evicted.
