Guest guest
Things seem to occur in groups. I currently have a 13 y.o. with inattentive and obsessional tendencies ... he scores as Overfocused ADD on Amen’s checklist. He sat perfectly still for the assessment without any problems. He may also be somewhat anxious. Alpha blocking is poor generally, but eyes open 10-12 Hz amplitudes at C3 and C4 are considerably larger than EC at the same sites. What to make of this? Guest guest
Mark, Can't speak to the Amen category, but the other issues are certainly consistent with alpha blocking (and the anxiety perhaps with too fast alpha for his age. I'd certainly take a shot at training down EO alpha, starting maybe with a squish at C3/A1 and C4/A2, or just trying it at C3. Pete Things seem to occur in groups. Guest guest
Thanks Pete. That particular Amen category is a combination of the inattentive side of ADD and frontal midline OCDish issues.
