Hi Everyone,

I have been dizzy for at least some part of the day for the last 6

months or so. I'm on Truvada,Kaletra, and Bactrim for AIDS. I take

vitamins and watch my diet. My EKG's are normal, I work out 7 days a

week most weeks (4 with weights, 3 ab/cardio days). I wonder if others

are experienceing this and what you do about it. In my case, I slog on

if at all possible, sometimes sit down and hope it passes and some

days, like today, I go to bed. My doctor has not been concerned or

proactive in this. Thanks for taking the time.

Take care,

Edmund

Edmund, I'd ask to be taken off Bactrim for awhile and replace it with another antibiotic that does the same thing. I say that because 3 weeks ago I was so dizzy I had to hold onto kitchen counter tops just to cook dinner, or hold walls to walk. This dizziness was caused by an antibiotic, and after I stopped it, the dizziness cleared in 3-4 days. Bactrim is VERY strong, so it may just be the culprit. There are other drugs that will do the same thing Bactrim does. Also, have Dr schedule an MRI of brain. Won't hurt any. My MRI showed a major sinus infection going on that I wasn't aware of. edmundgaines wrote: Hi Everyone,I have been dizzy for at least some part of the day for the last 6 months or so.
