Missed a quotation tag so I'm sending this message again:

The tricorder would do the blood workup, but also include the hair analysis. Then you plug this into acomputer which displays different options for hair colour, curl, texture, etc. It also provides recommended makeup combinations(probably "none" if the thing is correctly programmed).LOL! I want one of those!> As to non-invasive blood workups, that works with things likeDNA and things that can be derived from saliva and hair samples.Right. But you can also get a mineral analysis by hair sample. That's what I meant. I had one of those done once. But I'm still wondring how accurate it is - especially for those who have dyesd hair.> There is a low-invasive glucose monitor, but my understandingis that it must be worn for significant periods of time (as a"watch") and be calibrated with one or more blood samples. Ituses electric current to measure glucose. There's also atransdermal implant. Obviously these are useful for diabetics.Interesting!> I have a pulse oximeter, used to measure blood O2. It's usefulfor pilots monitoring O2 above 2500m, including regulation ofO2, typically above 3800m. This also has a pulse readout, butit doesn't work well when exercising.> For things like total cholesterol, I can't think of anythingthat can be reached non-invasively.> Can you get the tricorder to do "salt and pepper" hair, with abright grey? The tricorder comment was actually not connected in any way to my question about the hair mineral analysis that exists today. I guess it's my own fault for not posting those comments separate enough. "They" was referring to med labs.Inger
