Guest guest
I honestly don't know. My son has always fit in with his peers, and still does, just not thinking like them right now. He has a great group of friends, not interested in being with them now. He has changed alot since the summer. He did a community service project in Wyoming last summer, met some kids, girls (JUST FRIENDS!!!), and has somewhat lost interest in his guy friends here. No romance, this I know for sure. They are older than him! They live in Philadelphia, and thanks to a huge amount of miles, he has visited twice. My husband commutes to L.A. from NYC, and my son was in NYC in the summer and took the train to visit. He just is thinking about things other than parties on the weekends. He is very concerned about the devastation from the Tsunamis. He is focused on the political world. He reads the news. He reads Zinn. Where does this come from? Well, some of it from us here, but much he researches on his own. Old before his time? Yes, a bit. OCD? I really don't know. I don't honestly know. Anybody with any thoughts? There seems to be no question that our children are 'different' somehow, from what I have been reading here, but socially on the side? Looking in from the outside?
