Welcome to the group Maree.

My eldest is a girl and she is doing well academically and socially,

although she does experience frequent anxiety/panic attacks. She has

received counselling and is also taking a Multi vitamin B.

In our house, this sort of thing has been best addressed by

supporting the adrenal glands. We use Nutricology Adrenal Extract, B

and C vitamins given a few times a day, and chelation to get to the

root of the problem.

> My two younger boys both have sensory issues. They particularly

have difficulties with clothes touching their skin and may become

quite distressed with some types of clothes. Seams and tags are the

worst. I am also having great difficulty finding food that they will

eat †" very fussy eaters.

For my ASD son, a viral protocol was the most important intervention

for reducing sensory issues (they aren't gone entirely). You can

read about viruses in a file that I've placed in the Files section at

the home page of this group. I continue to chelate my son and

support his immune system in an effort to address the viruses long

term.

Best,

Anita

Cheryl:

I have three children. One diagnosed with high-functioning autism, one with

ADD. All three have sensory issues and two with apraxia. After extensive

therapies, my autistic child is pretty normal except for anxiety, especially

during tests. I also noticed I have begun having panic attacks after

delivering my third child. I keep thinking this all relates, like the

sensory issues, back to the central nervous system being disregulated. I'm

not big into taking drugs, but do take supplements. I suppose this will be a

long road to travel and will try many different options. If anyone has found

anything that works well, do let us all know.......

Ann

-- [ ] hi

I got my picc line in. So far had 3 doses and alot of symptoms on and

off. I talked to a lawyer about my short term disability and he told me

to run out of appeals then he can help me with my case. Have any of you

went through the denial stage and got approved and what helped your

case win? I am real sick and trying to deal with their mess is unreal!

something funny to laugh at!! I was calling for my siberian husky to

come in the house and was getting upset at him for not coming when

called, felt something cold on my leg and it was my dogs nose. I had let

him in already and he followed me to the door to call him in. He was

looking up at me so confused!! I was laughing so hard at myself!!

Take care everybody

Steph- I was just thinking about you last night, wondering how you

are doing. I'm glad to hear that you are doing better and are

continuing the healing process. You should be feeling great in a few

months! You know where to find me if you ever need anything!

Call the different blood test groups like LabCorp & ask. It can be

very expensive, it depends on the type of testing. If you are Mosaic,

then all parts of the body do not carry the extra X chromosomes & takes

may test groups. Mine is just in the upper body. All blood samples to

not show the extra X.
