Guest guest
Ok. I need some off the topic advice. My fiance was out of town for drill this weekend. We have the same friends, so I hang out with them regardless of whether or not he is here. Well I've been starting to think that one of our mutual friends..who we also work with, has a thing for me. You see....he is a 100+ lbs over weight and has very low self-esteem so he always handicapps himself by going after someone he can't have..if that makes sense. I think its finally my turn. We gathered at his place (he picked me up since I don't drive) to watch movies on his new DVD player and it was hard as heck to get him to take me home. He kept wanting to show me things at his apartment ot talk about this or that. Mind you I completely trust the guy...but I think he just wanted my company. On the way home (the clincher) he asked if my fiance and I were completely happy, because he thought sometimes that we might not be. I don't know what to do. I really just want to let it pass and he'll move on. I don't want to loose his friendship as he has been friends with my fiance and I for quite sometime. Plus we work together and have a lot of on the side business adventures together. I also don't feel comftorable telling my fiance because I don't want him to think badly of the guy. Which he would. He can get a little jealous...or he might be uncomftorable with me being around him. I feel horrible, because I want my friend to be happy. I know a huge part of it is self-esteem. I lent him my taebo tapes...because that was one of the first benefits I realy reaped from Taebo. He hasn't touched them. Yet he's always cutting himself down because of his appearance. I don't know what to do!!!!! Who is thankful just to vent her frustrations
