Hi,

You know as I read this I just think to myself " that's my son at that age " ! As

trying as it was, it's really a precious story. Elie knew what he wanted, and

was set on getting it! I took my son out to eat at a new restaurant a

couple of weeks ago for the first and last time. They had a refrigerator for

Coke's which meant to I can have all I want! It was like Forest Gump with

his Dr. Pepper's! I had to drag, push, pull- him out of there. Oh, doesn't this

make life fun...

Thanks for sharing your story.

Hi sara,

You know I always dare not say life is good. Seems like we can't truly enjoy

the good days without waiting for the other shoe to drop. Overall it could have

been worse. Elie has has many changes this year and has done remarkably well

considering. I hope you enjoy your visit at your daughter's home.

Tonite, because our middle son was in town for a visit, we all went out to

dinner (Elie too). We go out to eat all the time and the restaurant was not

a new one for Elie. He decided while there that he didn't want dessert in

the restaurant but wanted his jr frossty from .

We of course drew a line in the sand (Dumb us) saying if he wanted dessert

it would be where we were or not at all. Dinner is over, Elie ate nicely,

we enjoyed our conversation and visit, and it is time to leave. Elie waits

until we are in the middle of the restaurant getting ready to leaave when he

freezes and loudly proclaims that he wants his Wnedy Frosty. In order to

get him out, his brother whisspers in his ear " Lets go outsie and talk

about it " . Well, Elie, age 21 did a stop flop and drop!!! He hasn't done

that in many years. Seeing aas where he was located, he could not stay, so

wee grabbed an arm, one got behind him, and we bear walked him out of there.

Once we got to the car, he was all apologetic and so sorry, but no ice cream

for him tonite!!! ARGGGGGGG.

Tomorrow he goes for the first day ofhis work evaluation. Then we pick him

up and go to Atlanta for Passover at my daughter's. I sure hope he behaves

decently there.

But I am afrraid to hope. HE has had a number of meltdowns this past

month. I think he undertands that he is almost done with h/s. He LOVEs

his h/s class. :`(
